1. Who We Are
RxInsights is a prescribing analytics platform operated by RxInsights Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). Our contact email is info@rxinsights.co.uk.
By creating an account or using the RxInsights platform at rxinsights.uk (and associated subdomains), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. The Service
RxInsights provides dispensing doctor practices with analytical tools to review prescribing data, identify profit-optimisation opportunities, and track financial performance. The platform is intended for use by authorised personnel at dispensing doctor practices in England.
We process publicly available NHS prescribing data (NHSBSA EPD/PDPI), Drug Tariff information, dm+d data, and other NHS datasets. We do not collect, store, or process patient identifiable information.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when registering. Each account is tied to a single dispensing practice by ODS code.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You must notify us immediately at info@rxinsights.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we believe pose a risk to the platform or other users.
4. Permitted Use
You may use RxInsights for your own practice’s internal analytical purposes. You must not:
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the platform or its outputs to third parties.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform at scale.
- Use the platform to make clinical prescribing decisions — it is a financial analytics tool only.
- Share your account credentials with people outside your practice.
- Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the platform without prior written permission.
5. Data and Privacy
We handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Key points:
- Practice-level prescribing data you upload or that we fetch on your behalf (EPD/PDPI) is stored securely and used solely to power your analytics.
- We do not share your data with third parties, except as required by law or to operate the service (e.g., our cloud hosting provider).
- RxInsights is not a data processor under a formal Data Processing Agreement for patient data — no patient-identifiable data passes through the platform. If this changes, we will notify you and update these terms.
6. Disclaimers
RxInsights is an analytical tool. It is not clinical or financial advice.
- Profit estimates are based on publicly available NHS pricing data. Actual payments may differ — always verify with your PCSE/BSA statements and your accountant.
- Drug Tariff and MDS information is sourced from NHSBSA and may not reflect the most recent changes. We make reasonable efforts to keep data current but cannot guarantee it is up to date at all times.
- Switching recommendations (DMND/generic substitution) are informational only. You remain responsible for all prescribing decisions in compliance with NHS England guidelines and your GMS/PMS contract.
- VAT and financial calculations are estimates for guidance only. Consult a qualified accountant before making tax or financial decisions.
7. Subscription and Payment
RxInsights is offered on a subscription basis. Fees are as described on the pricing page at the time of sign-up.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance.
- You may cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice. Existing subscribers on annual plans are locked in at their contracted price until renewal.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
8. Intellectual Property
The RxInsights platform, including its software, design, and algorithms, is our intellectual property. Nothing in these terms grants you any ownership rights in the platform.
Data derived from public NHS datasets (NHSBSA EPD, Drug Tariff, dm+d) is subject to the Open Government Licence v3.0.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of RxInsights, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or prescribing decisions made on the basis of platform outputs.
Our total liability to you in any calendar year shall not exceed the total fees you paid to us in that year.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email and/or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
